Lynda holds a B.S. degree in Soil Science, with a focus on Environmental Chemistry and an M.B.A. in Organizational Development

Lynda has more than 37 years of experience as an environmental scientist, a community educator, policy maker and park steward, including 20 years at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). While working full-time, she dedicated herself to mentoring the next generation and serving as a Moraga Town Mayor and Councilmember. Lynda has been a trusted voice on the East Bay Regional Park District Parks Advisory Committee for the past 6 years and continues to serve proudly.

Lynda worked closely with tribal nations, youth and the under-served. She values the wisdom of community voices and those who have a close relationship with the land.
